We Made It To YWAM Kona!

Greetings from YWAM KONA!
Aloha ,
Wow! What a journey it has been already!
Liz and I cannot even begin to express our heartfelt thanks to every single person that helped us to get to where we are today. I'd especially like to thank our parents who helped us get all of the stuff pictured above to the airport and checked in. It was quite a task and we are still amazed that everything made it to Kona in one piece.
After arriving, we tried to get settled in our room but were quickly moved to another room that was a little more inhabitable shall we say. Our first and subsequent second room were both on the second floor...no elevators, only stairs. I moved all of our stuff upstairs, downstairs, over, and back upstairs. I was questioning what we were getting ourselves into as I moved our stuff and held my tantrum throwing baby who had worked herself up so much that she puked all over me. I was so thankful for a saint named Sam who walked up to me and simply said, "Do you need help?" Yes, yes I did! Oh Jesus how I needed so much help! We had been up super early and now I had already missed dinner. I was exhausted.
Since that moment, I can say without a doubt God has met us in incredibly kind and gracious ways! We have already completed 1 week of our lecture phase and we're soaking in so much of Jesus. My favorites are especially the corporate family worship times where the whole campus comes together to worship Jesus. It's been an incredibly transformative time for our children and we've only been here a week! I could say so much more but I'll leave that for the

. But I will say this, our little 650 square foot studio with a loft has become home and what an amazing home it has been for us! To see a quick video of what the campus is like, click

If you were planning to fill out a Pledge card but haven't yet, please consider doing that soon. Now that we've been able to settle down a bit from all the crazy of preparing to leave we've updated our spreadsheet and we are about $1,800 short of our fundraising goal. Also, please note that there is a way to
to us during our training that is non tax-deductible but certainly helpful for us to pay for diapers, baby food pouches, our health insurance, car insurance, etc. (Links below)

Mahalo for your prayers and your financial gifts.
