To Know God...and Make Him Known
"I will make my dwelling among them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people."2 Corinthians 6:16b

Perfecting Holiness In The Fear of God
The end of 2 Corinthians 6 lists some special promises from God in the context of our bodies being His temple that He will dwell in. It's such a beautiful picture isn't it? Us, individually and corporately, the Temple of the Living God! I can hardly fathom such a blessing and yet we, the followers of Jesus, have this holy, set apart, privilege. In light of this, Paul goes on to say (2 Corinthians 7:1), 'Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God. I love how Oswald Chambers refers to this. He says, 'we can claim the fulfillment of God's promises and rightly so! But this is only the human side.' He says, 'through these promises, that we rightly claim, we recognize God's claim on us; the Divine side of these promises.' It's so easy to go through life forgetting to align our thoughts (and more) with the life of the Son of God in us. This is a responsibility the Lord has given to us! The responsibility is this, to keep our spirit in agreement with His Spirit. Little by little Jesus lifts us up to where He lived--'in perfect consecration to His Father's will, paying no attention to any other thing.' May God get His way in us as we perfect this type of 'holiness in the fear of God.'
Niko
This past week, I participated in a sort of "survivor, boot camp, preparation for missions teams meant to go to hard places in the world long-term" training with my School of Worship staff called Niko. I just returned home from this training Saturday evening and it was one of the most encouraging things I've seen my staff do together. We truly are like a family! We did hard things and we did them, together, as a family. However, I'm grateful to not be cold, absolutely soaked by rain day and night, and walking for 12+ hours a day with a 50lb backpack! The 'word of the Lord' that I received, as to why we should participate in this training, was simply this phrase, 'gritty worshipers'. We live in a day and age where the people of God aren't as 'trained in battle' because we have lived in the comfort of the successful battles that our fathers/mothers and grandfathers/grandmothers fought for us. There is a sense of laziness to our warfare against the spiritual forces of evil. God has been speaking to me about reclaiming the grit of those who have gone before us so that we don't fall into a sluggish/lazy Christianity, but a vibrant one of faith; filled with the power of God! There is so much unknown in the world today but this we do know!...Revelation 12:11 "They overcame him (our adversary the devil) because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death." We are conquerers, over-comers, and ones who will prevail. Amen!
Nairobi, Kenya
There are many things happening next month, but I'm going to highlight this particular one because I'm so excited about it! In partnership with a crew of worshipers from Wichita, Kansas, Malakai and I will be traveling to Nairobi to help bring leadership and strengthening to a worship conference being led by Pastors James and Maria Murunga. They oversee a network of over 30 churches in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and Rwanda. Additionally, Maria is a Worship Pastor and leads a network of worship leaders in Kenya. For many years, I (Chris) have prayed for an open door to Africa and this year the phone call finally came. We are expecting an attendance of 1,500 people and will be helping to record an album while we are there as well. Please be praying for this missionary journey, that the fulness of God's plans will be completed! I am over the moon to be ministering alongside my son Kai! He has been practicing a song he co-wrote with his siblings as well as his testimony which we believe will be an encouragement to many. Praise God, the finances for my portion of the trip are fully covered, but Malakai is still raising the funds to pay for his flights and accommodations. Would you please take a moment to read his SUPPORT LETTER HERE and pray about giving towards his costs? I would greatly appreciate it! There is more detailed info, there, on what we are doing. If you do decide to give towards his costs through our YWAM account, please let me know how much so I can account for it in my records I'm keeping. MALAKAI'S SUPPORT LETTER LINK
Final Remarks
Liz and I cannot even begin to express our heartfelt gratitude for the team that God has gathered around us. Thank you for doing missions around the world with us, praying for us, believing with us, trusting God in all things with us! We are expectant for many breakthroughs this year and they will be filled with much celebration knowing that it wasn't us, the McCalls, but us, the family of God walking out 'Christ in us, the hope of glory' together. We pray blessing, favor, and protection over each of you and your families in the mighty name of Jesus. May the Lamb receive the full reward of His suffering!!
Peace be with you,
Chris, Lizzi, Malakai, Laila, Rhema, Moses, and Zion ♥️
