To Know God...and Make Him Known

Aloha This past weekend I (Chris) was on my annual fishing trip into the High Sierra mountains with my two oldest, my father-in-law, brother-in-law, and his girls. At a certain moment during one of our long hikes to Lamarck lake, I was struck by the greatness of God as I looked all around me. I mentioned this to Kai and broke into spontaneous worship with the song "How Great Thou Art". Around the same time (only slightly below us...maybe it was a little more...😉), my father-in-law, his brother, and dear friend had also broken into spontaneous worship with the same song. It was plain to see the handiwork of God in creation!! It evoked awe, wonder, and inspired us to worship. In that very moment I was reminded of the fullness of joy that is offered to us through Christ. In the very presence of God is the fullness of joy. It was so tangible in that moment; so real. Isn't it wonderful that the God we love and serve extends such fullness of life to us? Some time this week, I encourage you stop what you are doing and to look with eyes intent on seeing God all around you. May it transform every piece of your day and bring a tangible joy to your life.We Are In Orange CountyOn Sunday, July 30th, I (Chris) will be helping with worship at Grace Fellowship Church and will also be giving a short missions update.
