March 2021 Update

To Know God...and Make Him Known

In God We Trust It has been so good for our family to be home in Kona. We are so grateful for the short-term rental that we were able to find. Since we've been back, God has allowed for much ministry to happen out of our home and for us to engage again in meaningful ways on the YWAM Kona campus. I (Chris) have been leading worship both on campus and at our home church in Kona frequently. Thank you for your prayers! Please keep praying for our future long-term housing. Last evening, we found ourselves both discouraged and encouraged as we found out that we won't be able to extend our time at this current rental. We are still on the look out for new housing and need major breakthrough, but God has met us so tangibly. Specifically he highlighted three words to me which were: rest, trust, and peace. No matter what we (or you) go through, rest, trust, and peace are provided to us by God and it is always available to us. We trust you God!Orange CountyCurrently, I (Chris) am in the OC for just under a week. If you are nearby and available, I would love to worship together with you on Friday evening March 12th at 6p-7:30p! I will be co-leading worship with Sofia Franco at Grace Fellowship Church in Costa Mesa. Come and be refreshed by the Lord. Just to be with Him is enough. Additionally, I will be leading worship at Shoreline Church for all of their Sunday morning gatherings in San Clemente. Come to one or all and say hi to me!Travel...In April I have two trips to Mexico on the schedule. I will be speaking at two School of Worship schools in the beginning and end of April. The first is in Mazatlan and the second is in Ensenada. Pray that everything God wants them to learn will be spoken clearly, concisely, and with the Power of the Holy Spirit. May God use those times exponentially. Please also pray that travel back home will be smooth and easy as I will need to find a covid test that will allow me back into the US and back into Hawaii. 'To The Ends of The Earth'...Our YWAM Kona Music collective released a new single last week! 'To The Ends of The Earth' is such a great representation of YWAM and our missional heart. You can check out the official 'To The Ends of The Earth' Music video HERE. Also, BIG SHOUT OUT to Jim and Penny Popov!! They came to Kona last week and attended our Thursday night gathering where I helped lead worship as well as celebrating the release of the newest song! Much fun was had by all!!We Do This Together...Thank you so much for standing with us in this mission that God has sent us on as a family. Without your partnership, financially and in prayer, none of this is possible! Thank you for your perseverance with us to see people “know God…and make Him known!” We praise God together with you knowing that He's not surprised by all that's going on in the world and that He's working out His plans!
