GratitudeThis past season has been much different than any other season that our family has been in. We are truly grateful for this time and I'm so proud to say that Liz has completed her Bible School! Typically, when we get to the mainland, for a month in the summer, we are in the same general vicinity for ministry. This summer has been quite different and we've been all over the place.We Do This TogetherBefore I go anywhere else with this update, I just wanted to over express how grateful we are for each one of you. Although our work in YWAM is beyond full-time, YWAM doesn't pay any of its staff. We are all volunteers around the world!! YWAM value #16 is "Practice dependence on God." We give of our gifts and talents freely to YWAM with out any expectation of renumeration. This means, because of each and every one of you, we are able to do the work that we do around the world in missions, training, and Bible distribution. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for partnering with us in this (many times difficult) act of obedience. NorwayLast month, Rhema and I were in Norway to reconnect with friends, ministry partners, do the work of ministry, and gather with 10,000 other people at The Send gathering in Oslo. We were so blessed to see the work that God has done! This was my first trip back to Norway since the pandemic started. There was a tenderness and gratitude in my heart for every opportunity that God has allowed me to have. In the week leading up to The Send we gathered to worship, pray, and do evangelism in the streets of Oslo. It's incredible to think about all that happened! 3,573 individuals heard the gospel and 103 people gave their lives to Jesus!! Praise God for our NEW FAMLY in CHRIST!! I believe there will be incredible ripple effects through these transformed lives! I also want to extend a HUGE thank you to the three families that opened up their homes as housing for Rhema and I while we traveled. Your hospitality was more than we could've imagined!(Hope for Oslo gathering)New SingleGuys!!! I'm so pumped for my first single to release on July 29th in collaboration with YWAM Kona Music!!! This solo album has been unto the Lord and a dream in continual fulfillment! I truly believe that every song will be a gift to the Lord and that it will draw believers ever closer to our GREAT GOD. I (Chris) will be teaching in a School of Worship and we will also be participating in street evangelism across the city. Pray for the students hearts and minds. Pray for those that God is preparing; to hear and receive the good news of Jesus as their Savior. FinancesWe are in need of increasing our monthly support.
