Aloha ,

God has been so faithful to us. We have been all in, devoted to spending an overwhelming amount of time in the presence of Jesus and he has not disappointed! We came into this saying, "God we come to you with open hearts and minds because we want you to get the full amount of glory that you desire through our surrendered lives." We said, "Lord, if there's anything in our lives that is hindering your work then wreck us, heal us, restore us, and empower us." God, in His kindness, has exposed to us all that He needs to work on so that He can heal, restore, and make us whole. It's been painful and oh so beautiful. This purification process that God has been putting us through has stirred up even more passion to surrender our lives even more than we thought was possible. We are learning to wake up every morning and say, "Yes" to Jesus; to say, "We set our hearts to honor you Lord. Show us where we're not and help us to honor you with the help of your Spirit." What a gift it is to truly walk in the fear of the Lord and the comfort of the Holy Spirit!

In addition to our time in class, I (Chris) have had incredible opportunities to participate in music ministries here on campus and it has been incredibly restorative to my soul. For 3 hours a week, Liz has been learning how to do sustainable farming with "Papa Vern" (who also happens to be a world renowned bird scientist) and how to grow vegetables in a variety of different ways that could be used to help train people in undeveloped nations, how to make good soil and how to grow gardens in creative ways using what they have to work with. The kids have been growing in how to hear God's voice and have grown in confidence in praying for people they don't know every Tuesday. It truly has been remarkable to see the growth in all of our kids since we've been here. The growth we've seen in Rhema is nothing short of astounding!

Lastly, we are excited to announce that we are going

Norway

for the outreach phase of our training! We are all so very excited for the opportunity to share the love of Jesus and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit with the Norwegian people we come in contact with. We will be doing a substantial amount of traveling in Norway but we know that God goes before us in all those details.

Things you can be praying for:

* Our entire Norway team will raise the finances needed to go on outreach.

* God would give us visions of how He wants us to conduct ministry in Norway.

* God would bring unity in our team for His glory.

* That God would prepare our children for the outreach phase and the vital role they are going to play in our ministry.

but haven't yet, please consider doing that soon. Now that we've been able to settle down a bit from all the crazy of preparing to leave, we've updated our spreadsheet and we are about $1,750 short of the pledged monthly giving goal we set for ourselves before we left for Kona. (Links below)

May we all throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles us so that we can run with perseverance the race marked out for each of us. Let us each fix our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith who considered it JOY to endure the cross for us so that we don't lose heart or grow weary. Jesus is the same yesterday and today and forever. Amen.
