Feb 2021 Update

When It's Not Planned, Keep Trusting God

To Know God...and Make Him Known

"Sing forth the honor of His name, make His praise glorious!" Psalm 66:2

Aloha

Make His Praise GloriousFrom the beginning of this crazy adventure with God, which started in the end of October 2020, we had committed ourselves to bringing forth all the honor due to God. As the Psalm above says, "Sing forth the honor of His name...". We were so sure that God had sent us off the island to do Spiritual battle on the mainland by gathering His people to 'Sing forth the honor of His name' in this trying season. As we traveled from Montana, to Utah, to California, to Texas, and back to California, we saw (and heard) a roar of praise go up to our God! If there's anything that could sum up what these amazing few months of living out of our suitcases was about, it would be this quote from Charles Spurgeron. "With every morning's dawn, lift up your notes of thanksgiving, and let every setting sun be followed with your song. Girdle the earth with your praises; surround it with an atmosphere of melody, and God himself will hearken from heaven and accept your music." In this 'atmosphere of melody,' we saw God bring freedom to many people, activate believers into their 'great commission' calling, and at least a dozen salvations. God is so, so good.It FINALLY Closed!!!We initially set out on this adventure because we believe with all our heart that God has a new house for us to live in, to do life on life ministry with young missionaries, to be a house of safety, prayer, worship, and creativity for our music collective in YWAM Kona. We sold our condo, which ended up being an up and down roller coaster of losing a buyer and then finding a new one. As of today, Feb 5th, we have finally, and officially, closed escrow on the sale of our condo! With that said, God also provided a short term rental for us to land in back at home in Kona. We will travel back to Kona next week to get our family settled in our new, temporary home, as we believe for the new house God has for us. Open Doors...Throughout this time of complete and utter dependence on God, we saw doors open that we believe wouldn't have opened had we not taken this important step of faith. I (Chris) had the opportunity to press into songwriting with some of my favorite songwriters and lead worship in completely new places filled with possibility. In a season where everything shut down, God created hope and open doors of possibility. Nothing is too hard for God. Nothing or no one  is too far gone for God. He is more powerful than we could ever comprehend.'Let This Flame In Our Hearts Become A Wildfire'...Our YWAM Kona Music collective is beginning to release new songs again, leading up to our second EP in May. In the Lord's goodness, I have two songs featured on this EP. Be on the lookout for more info on this. In the meantime, click HERE to watch my official 'Wildfire' Music video and HERE for our newest single 'The Great I Am' sung by my incredible friend Teira Ila. We Do This Together...Thank you so much for standing with us in this mission that God has sent us on as a family. Without your partnership, financially and in prayer, none of this is possible! Thank you for your perseverance with us to see people “know God…and make Him known!” We praise God together with you knowing that He's not surprised by all that's going on in the world and that He's working out His plans! What a GREAT GOD WE SERVE!!!May the Lamb receive the full reward of His suffering!!Peace be with you,Chris, Lizzi, Malakai, Laila, Rhema, and Moses
