As Christmas nears we are so grateful for all that God has done in this last quarter here at the University of the Nations (YWAM Kona) campus. This past weekend teams started deploying to over 25 nations to share the good news of Jesus with whoever they come across! The last team deploys on Tuesday the 19th! They return at the end of March 2018 and I'm expectant for all that God is going to do in and through these teams. That's about 1,000 people being launched into front-line missions!! Testimony night is always so fun and it's gonna be so wild in March 2018!

Quick Updates:

We have been incredibly busy this month with closing out the quarter, our kids' Christmas programs, and fixing up our new place to live in which is truly an answer to prayer! We no longer live in dorm housing and have moved off campus...but our new to us 2 bedroom 2 bath place is basically on campus! Our biggest excitement is to have bedrooms again and a kitchen! We haven't had either of those for almost a year now! Some other highlights from this month are:

• Songwriting with Ed Cash (How Great Is Our God and many more...) Our YWAM Kona Music crew is in an intense song writing season as we will be recording a live worship album at the end of March 2018

• Bringing to life all the new songs written by our music students at the Showcase/Commissioning last week

• Lizzi's parents visiting us for a week!

• My parents and sister coming for Christmas!

• Preparing for 2018!

While we know there are many other organizations you could give to for year-end giving, we would love if you would consider us in your year-end giving plan. The new year is bringing many new needs for us in ministry as we pursue the plans that Jesus has for our lives. Your year-end giving would help get Kai and I (Chris) back to Norway in February 2018 to meet up with the Norway team in Molde to partner in ministry and also to be with my dear friends in YWAM Molde to plan for the summer as well as partner in ministry in various ways through street evangelism, prayer room worship nights, and strengthening of our relationship for many years of ministry to come. After that, Kai and I will be heading to the YWAM Grimerud base for a prayer and worship conference to intercede for Norway. I was personally invited to attend by upper-leadership of YWAM Norway. It would also help get our whole family back to Norway in June for a stadium gathering that I (Chris) will be leading worship at in Bergen then back to Molde for a family camp that our family will be helping to run alongside our dear friends at YWAM Molde. I will also be leading worship for the family camp. Lastly, your year-end giving would also help to get our family to Cambodia in September where we will be partnering in training indigenous missionaries for a week. After the week of training, we will be headed to Thailand for a global gathering of YWAM'ers to pray for the nations, encourage one another in our mission, and worship our most worthy God. Jesus is truly worth giving our whole lives to!We are so grateful for all the ways you have partnered with us and supported us through prayer and finances this year. Over and over and over your prayers have been the fuel to move us forward into a deeper more surrendered life to Jesus than ever before. You're like the great cloud of witnesses cheering us on in the race that we have been called to run. Already, there has been a tremendous impact in many nations through your partnership and I believe this is just the beginning of seeing the Kingdom of God advance like never before. The harvest is truly plentiful and God is pouring out His Spirit on His sons and daughters like I've never seen. What an exciting time to be living in! Merry (Mighty) Christmas to you all!!
