Peace
To Know God...and Make Him Known
“You know the message God sent to the people of Israel, announcing the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.” Acts 10:36

Advent Season
Peace, as described by merriam-webster dictionary is:
a state of tranquility or quiet
freedom from disquieting or oppressive thoughts or emotions
harmony in personal relations
a pact or agreement to end hostilities between those who have been at war or in a state of enmity
used interjectionally to ask for silence or calm or as a greeting or farewell
Peace in the Old Testament is embodied by the word shalom (šālôm) and a Hebraic translation of the word would come back as ‘completeness,’ ‘wholeness,’ ‘well-being,’ or ‘welfare and peace.’ Shalom is best translated as ‘peace’ and when used this way means more than just an absence of war or strife but describes “a time, place and condition that features love, righteousness, calmness, political and moral uprightness and much more. It is a word reserved for those who walk with God in a positive relationship.” (HTKBW p. 135)
Through Jesus we can enter into a fullness of peace previously not attainable before Christ. This peace was made available through the coming of our Savior into the world as a baby boy.
May we be people who allow the peace of Christ to dwell more fully in our lives through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Isaiah 9: 6-7; 32:17
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end…The fruit of righteousness will be peace; the effect of righteousness will be quietness and confidence forever.” Isaiah 9:6-7; Isaiah 32:17
Much To Be Grateful For
Thank you for the ways that you have partnered with us in our incredibly important missions work. Together we have trained missionaries, musicians, worship leaders, done targeted evangelistic ministry, supported indigenous movements around the world, helped to deliver Bibles in newly translated languages, multiplied School of Worship globally, and helped see new scripture songs come to life in newly translated languages. Over 2 billion people have not had the opportunity to accept or reject Jesus. We believe everyone has a right to that opportunity. With your help, we are able to play a part in meeting this need.
As we come near the end of 2024, would you consider an "end of year" financial gift to the meaningful work that we do in missions with YWAM? May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make his face shine upon you, and be gracious to you. May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace. Amen. Link is below if you feel led to give. 🙏May the Lamb of God receive the full reward of His suffering!!Click HERE to Give a Tax-Deductible DONATIONPeace be with you,Chris, Lizzi, Malakai, Laila, Rhema, Moses, and Zion ♥️
